I'm Dylan Norquist, a developer who loves making projects in my free time. I work at Direct Supply as an Applied AI Intern with experience as a Data Science and Software Engineering Intern. I work on rapid prototypes using Python, PostgreSQL, and React building full stack applications that apply AI to solve issues within the Elderly Care Industry.
I study at the Milwaukee School of Engineering as a Computer Science major with a focus in Machine Learning and Low Level Programming. I'm interested in Machine Learning, Software Engineering, and AI with focus in undergraduate research on Behavior Cloning on Online Videos. My Fall 2025 semester I will be researching Reinforcement Learning for Generalization and World Modeling.
In my free time I like to rock climb, play video games, and code. My favorite project I've completed was building a working neural network on a 8 bit computer inside of Minecraft. My second favorite project was a V9 boulder problem by dynoing to the top and skipping the entire problem.
This website was built mainly for fun and to learn more about web development. The bulk of this is written in Next.js, Tailwind CSS, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL but I want to see how far I can push it before I have to learn a new framework. I plan to add more features and fun stuff to it in the future.
